HostGator No Longer Accepts Payments via Western Union

1 min read

HostGator, which is one of the reputable hosting companies of the world, has stopped receiving payments made through Western Union. It is a bad news for you if you don’t have access to PayPal or any other international online electronic shoping method. Now the only comfortable method for paying your hosting charges at HostGator is to create and verify a PayPal account via Payoneer. Or you can use your Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard® for this purpose.

Apart from PayPal, HostGator is accepting payments via bank wire transfers also. I got to know about it yesterday when one of my friends submitted a ticket at HostGator for inquiring about paying hosting charges via Western Union. Here is the email HostGator support sent him back in reply:

Unfortunately, we no longer accept Western Union payments at this time.

However, if you wish to make payment with a bank wire, you’ll have to
pay for one year and the minimum payment is $100. Please find our bank

So if you are also going to pay hosting fee or other charges via Western Union, first do confirm it by submitting a ticket. It will ensure that you don’t face difficulties in making payments and your money stays safe.
